Zenpack designed a sustainable packaging system to address the environmental crisis posed by single-use coffee pods for Cambio. Built around a universal molded pulp container and lid, the packaging is secured by a glue-free, color- coded belly band. Beyond its role as a shipping vessel, the container is engineered to live on the kitchen counter as a dedicated recycling bin. Once customers use Cambio's recycle pods, they toss them into the pulp bin; when full, the entire bin can be placed in a recycling or compost receptacle.
Crafted from water and paper fiber, the molded pulp bin serves as a nitrogen-balancing ingredient for at-home or industrial composting. The packaging uses a mechanical tear-strip belly band, eliminating chemical adhesives and ensuring the components are easily separated for recycling.

Directly addresses the 5.5 million tons of plastic waste produced annually by research labs, offering a renewable alternative to petroleum-based polycarbonate. Made from 100% paper-based materials (greyboard, corrugated, and kraft) that are both recyclable and compostable after sterilization. Unlike plastic labware that can exist for centuries, PulpFixin decomposes at the same rate as standard paper packaging in a landfill.

The Dwell Dripper packaging is a theatrical, paper-based stage designed for Verve Coffee Roasters’ first silicone pourover. Inspired by the nostalgia of a paper lunch bag, the unique triangular structure features an integrated easy-grab handle that turns the brewer into a carry-out accessory. The open-faced design showcases the dripper’s vibrant colors on retail shelves, while a custom internal platform securely houses both the device and its matching coffee scoop.
100% Recyclable: Made entirely from paper (E-flute and SBS) with 60% recycled content. Low-Waste Engineering: The single-part T-shaped dieline is designed to nest like puzzle pieces during production, drastically reducing raw material scrap. Logistical Efficiency: The structure ships completely flat, maximizing container space and reducing the carbon footprint of transport.
